Orienteering is a Thieves Guild skill that helps you find a path from one zone to another through the use of landmarks, and a general knowledge of the lay of the land. As you gain higher levels and get better at the skill, you will be able to rely less upon nearby landmarks, and can orienteer your way to zones that are farther away from you.
